Caller was probably from an offshore call center, said he wanted to send me a free white paper from HP on some type of data storage system. I'm not in IT, and the company is small, so I asked him to remove my name from his list. He hung up on me. I get at least two of these calls a week even after asking to be removed. If anybody from HP is listening -- this doesn't boost your image in my mind!
Got a call from this number today. Didn't answer and no VM. Called back just to mess with them after reading posts here, but got "currently unavailable" message. Can't we get phone companies to have this number disconnected?
Got a call from a Middle Eastern speaking person that asked for a person that dies 4 years ago. I told him to take our phone # off their list and he called back. I did not answer the second time but called the # that showed up on our phone here at work. When I called 408-459-2892 back, the voice mail said "The Magic Jack Customer can not take your call at this time" (Telemarketer) Funny how they call us, but you can't call them...............
