a foreigner man that asked if I have an attorney because I'm being sued. that he has my social security #.I asked who was sueing me he wouldn't tell me.Hetold me to call this number.then when I told him I knew this was a hoax.he called me a b.....to suck his .....then I said he didn't have one and I hung up.that made him very furious. then he called me back 3 times in a row telling me he had a d.....and proceeded with more obscenity's.this is all on my answering machine.then he calls again today like nothin was wrong.I want to know what is or what I can do about this weirdo.
They (original messages left by "Dan Foster" and subsequent calls from "Mark Wallace" - both with very thick accents and hard to understand) told me I was being sued by a cash advance company but would not tell me who it was; they also told me to remedy it I had to go to CVS or Walgreens and get Prepaid VISA cards to pay them. If I didn't do this in 45 minutes I was going to be arrested AT WORK. They told me I could ask any questions I wanted and when I did ask anything they got mad and said 'if you don't want to resolve this then we'll just let you get arrested; you're due to appear in court in CALIFORNIA Monday morning at 11:30 AM as it's a felony (money laundering) to not pay a loan. They said they were with the Legal Dept of the cash advance company who was suing me...but couldn't/wouldn't tell me who it was that was filing the lawsuit against me. I called several loan officers who told me it is a prank and not to do anything they asked. Since when is it an arrestable offense to default on a loan (even though no such thing has occurred)?
REceived a call that went to voice mail. The voice in very broken english said that I need to contact an attorney. No reason as to why I needed to do this. Left a name Gregory Lee. Said that if I do not return the call then I would have serious legal trouble. Called the number back and some guy answered and said the office was closed and to call back. When I asked what kind of company this was all he said was it was an attorny's office and then hung up on me. Tried calling back again to get more info and no one answered.
A CALL WAS LEFT ON VOICE MAIL AT 630A CST FROM A RONNY WILLIAMS 408-462-6582 STATING THAT A LAWSUIT WAS PENDING AGAINST ME; ASKED ME TO RETURN CALL ASAP; HOWEVER, WHEN RETURNED CALL, THE LINE REMAINED BUSY; BELIEVE THIS IS A SCAMER!!!!!!!
I had gotten a call from a Jackie Smith from 212 444 6661 and was told to call 408 462 6582, when I called back they threaten me saying that the sherriff dept is coming to pick me up.. and I had told them that you must have the wrong person they hung up on me. I called back and they continue to hang up on me. I do believe they are a fraud.. No real company that is trying to collect would be so rude.
