408-651-8176 Received a "Robocall" at our place of business. It sounds like the same company that robocalls my cell phone. I pressed one and asked for the name of the person and the name of the company. He replied "Mr. Carter" or perhaps he was saying "Mr. Carder". I told them these calls are illegal in our state and he hung up. What good are laws against robocalls when government won't enforce them?
The *69 call back feature would not allow the incoming call number to be called back.
The only solution I can suggest is to seem very interested and waste their time as much as possible in creative ways. Obviously our government is no use so we have to help ourselves.

There's nothing like a quick and easy rant to improve my mood!
I fill in answering calls for our receptionist at work so she can break for lunch. During the time she was gone this number called twice. It was a prerecorded message both times. The first time I hung up in mid babble. The second time I waited so I could press the number that would allow the number called to be removed from the list. No such luck. It placed me in a voicemail loop I could not get out of. Crazy! The prerecorded message was all about how this was a last chance offer to reduce interest. If it's so last chance why did they call more than once?
I just subscribed to a new, unlisted, unpublished phone number for my land phone. This call was obviously a robot dialed call placed before my new phone features have become effective, intent on selling whomever answered a debt resolution sales pitch. I have blocked the number If other recipients of this call have the ability to do so, I recommend that. I really object to having to answer unwanted telephone calls. Much like spam on the PC.
i have had over 12 calls all of them offers to lower credit card debt to 4.9% funny thing is i have only had this phone 2 weeks!!! lol got calls the very next day after install!!! comcast must sell out the numbers to 3rd party companies. those [***]......
