Just recently I received a very disturbing call from a so called attorney's office. The person calling was a male with a heavy Indian accent. He stated that I or my attorney should return his call immediately for time is of the essence. He also stated, and I quote, "If you or your attorney do not return my call, I wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you. Good by" unquote. I did return the call and for whatever reason all he said was, "have a good day" and hung up. I than called several more times and got an answering machine and to this I left a very explicit message. He left no reason for the call.
Can you tell me what they said to you because I got the same call this was really very sesitive stuff. They were accusing me of criminal acts which I have no idea what they're talking about. I called again tonight and I also got an answering machine. This is not right. I am still going to consult a lawyer because this is causing me pain and suffering. They can't just do these to people....intimidate and harass me like this.
I received a call that showed up 1224 on my caller ID. And told me to call the number because of a legal matter. When I called the number a man very rudely told me to call back in 30 minutes. Started to think something wasn't right so I called my cell phone company. They also called the number and was told the same thing. They asked what legal firm it was and they hung up on her. They told me just not to call back again. Then my phone was ringing off the hook with the same thing. When I told them if it was a legal matter they could call me they would hang up on me. Everytime all it showed on my caller id was a 4 digit number. Each time it was different. Still don't know what it is about but pretty sure it is a fraud of some kind.
