I received a phone call from 7024420224 which is an untracable number.An Indian sounding person said he was from Medicare and wanted information about my bank.I told him I didn't have a bank.He hung up
Claimed to be in Medicaire office......said they were mailing out new cards.....wanted our personal info and name of Bank that our SS check was deposited into......hung up on him
RECEIVED CALL FROM 409-291-5191 AT 2;26 PM ON 10/10/2012 DID NOT ANSWER CHECKED NUMBER OUT ON THIS SITE FOUND THAT THE CALLERS WERE SCAMMER'S . I HAVE A PHONE WITH NUMBER BLOCKING ON IT,- IT RINGS ONE TIME AND DISCONNECTS CALLER SO I BLOCKED NUMBER IN THE NEXT HOUR AND A HALF THEY CALLED BACK 13 TIMES---I GUESS THIS WAS MY PUNISHMENT FOR NOT ALLOWING THEM A CHANCE TO STEAL FROM ME.
Man with heavy East Indian accent. Said it had to do with a new Medicare card for elderly. Knew my address and phone number. Told him Mom was dead and he hung up. Really regretting my gullibility.
My husbanad receives a couple of calls a week from a woman who wants to send him a new Medicare card. She too has our bank routing number. My husband refuses to give her the other required information as if she has that much and is legit then she has the rest of the needed info!
Received a call from 4092915191 this morning and the man with the foreign accent asked if I was someone else that lived in the house. He said he was called for verification and he was from Medicare. When I told him that was not me he hung up.
