I received a phone call from 7024420224 which is an untracable number.An Indian sounding person said he was from Medicare and wanted information about my bank.I told him I didn't have a bank.He hung up
A lady with a foreign accent called, saying that a new medicare card would be mailed to me. But first she
needed to verify my address, which she had correct, and then asked for my medicare number.
I told her this was a scam, that I never gave out my ss or medicare number and I would report her to
the authorities. Then I hung up. The call was from Beaumont, TX.
Do not give these people any information - hang up. This number has called many of my senior residents wanting to verify their Medicare number -DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO OUT IT'S A SCAM!!!!!
Have received the call from woman with heavy accent several times in the last few days. If you don't say anything, they hang up. Of course, they call back again and again. Will try once more to block them, but am considering getting a whistle!

I just received a call from a man with a heavy India accent and he said that everyone in california is going to be getting a new Medicare card and he needed to verify my address, then he wanted to verify my bank for my social security check and he asked me to read him my account number. When I refused I hung up, he called back, I said I would not do it and hung up and he called back. Finally after I hung up the third time he did not call back.
