Left a message threatening to have an arrest warrant issued for me if I didn't take care of some matter immediately. so upon calling back they just picked up the phone and did not identify the name of their company so when I demanded the name of the company I was hung up on multiple times. finally one gentleman that answered first spoke in an unknown language and then identified the company as being the IRS.. Scam..
As with everybody in the posts above I received a call from this number 409-440-4666. I knew it was a scam. It is not the first time they have called me yet it is the first time I've called them back. I asked him his name he said officer John Goodman as he spoke with a hard accent which was hard to understand. Accent was from an Eastern country. I asked what they wanted and his reply was filthy. He said I want your f blank blank in P blank blank blank. I said this is a scam do not call me back he kept saying no I'm serious I'm serious I want then I hung up. How come these people are continually allowed to get by with Dee scamming phone calls. My cell phone they keep calling does not have a way to block them. It's getting really old. said they were with the IRS and said there is a serious charge against me that a warrant had been issued under my name and that I needed to get in touch with them right away or that I would be arrested. It's unfortunate son people will fall for these kind of calls. IRS will not make calls like this. I counted the number of scam calls I've been getting just this last month and it came to 18 period that's out of control. right below my comment here it says call her and then type of call yet under type of call it does not have a choice for scam
All the above comments are correct & the exact same call I got. They didn't like my response on calling them out on their scam as I explained to him I work closely with law enforcement & he is a scam & his ascent doesn't help him at all. His "name" was Alex Martin speaking on behalf of Alex Brown. How convenient of him. I didn't pay my taxes of $527 in 2014-2015 & this was a violation of Section 1018. They are located out of Galveston, TX.
