Left a message threatening to have an arrest warrant issued for me if I didn't take care of some matter immediately. so upon calling back they just picked up the phone and did not identify the name of their company so when I demanded the name of the company I was hung up on multiple times. finally one gentleman that answered first spoke in an unknown language and then identified the company as being the IRS.. Scam..
They called me and didn't even know who I was when they called and when I asked why they wanted to know they said that they were gonna have me arrested because I have an attitude and owed them money. Then they called me Jennifer. My name isn't even Jennifer
Got the call from Alex Brown like so many others here. Just for the sake of repitition, the IRS does not call and threaten people in this manner. They contact you by mail. Also, if you ignored the IRS long enough, you will find that they will start to garnish your paycheck. They only prosecute the big fish, they don't bother with the little people.
Either way, these are scare tactics from a fraudulent company trying to scam people. Get the mailing address for their company and tell them that they'll be hearing from your attorney. Total crap, they can be safely ignored.
