I received two calls this morning from this number. The first one talked in a middle East or Indian dialect and said that they were sending out a new Medicare card and needed to know the name of the bank that my social security check was sent to. I told him that I did not give out that information and he then hung up. On the second call when I answered the call in my business name they hung up. This is very much a scam and I believe that they are trying to get a social security number or other information. I have warned my wife about this call in the event that she answers.
CLAIMED I WAS GOING TO RECEIVE A NEW MEDICARE CARD, AND TOLD ME MY NAME AND ADDRESS AND WANTED THE NAME OF MY BANK, WITCH I FOOLISHLY TOLD HIM THEN HE PUT ME THROUGH TO ANOTHER MAN, AND HE WANTED TO KNOW MORE INFORMATION, THEIR VOICE WAS BROKEN ENGLISH. THEN THE LIGHT WENT OFF IN MY BRAIN, AND TOLD HIM I WAS NOT GOING TO GIVE HIM ANYMORE INFO AND HUNG UP.
Just adding another confirmation that call came from this number with same medicare claim and intent as described by others, to get personal bank info.
