Received a call on my cell phone from 409-684-2263 on 9/21/15 @ 12:15 - didn't answer and no message. I'm used to getting these type calls on my land line - pissed that I'm now getting them on my cell phone.

They do it to entice you to use it more by either increasing your limit or lowering your interest rate. Be happy about it, you earned it, but if you're trying to get away from cards completely, don't answer a call from this number..
Missed call from my area code so I called back. Immediately recording comes on stating all calls are recorded for quality assurance. A woman then said "hello (and my first name)", I stated that I had a missed call from this number and she responded "ok, wrong number" and hung up. I then called back to find out what they were calling for. That time a guy answered and began giving me what he called "good news" about a warranty for my vehicle. I hung up and blocked number.
