I got the call from this number today. I know about the voice recording scam going around. I never answer numbers I don't recognize. Usually they finish with a click and no message. This one was different. Male recorded voice, very clear, no accent. "Answer with simply a Yes or a No. Did you yourself vote in the last presidential election? (pause) I was just saying that I'm with Informed Electorate, doing a quick survey. Did you yourself vote in the last presidential election? (pause) Uh-huh. (as if I had answered or said something!) Uh-huh. (pause). I'm sorry. Thank you so much for your time. Um-huh. Bubbye." So there is a group called Informed Electorate. But the way this message played out, with the pauses as if I were actually answering, was CREEPY. Could be the voice scam, using some group's name?
Same line that he ha a one question survey answerable by YES or NO. Told him none of your business. Question was asked again. Said none of your business again. Line went dead then.
Mobile, Al.
News report states that calls are recording the answer YES, that we answer YES to, and use it later as a commitment for some kind of "balance due"-
Answered the above number. A one question survey. Re: electoral vote.
Just beware
