Claims I have been charged with fraudulent bank activity or fraudulent checks, I don't even have a bank account, we use prepaid debit/credit cards for all our transactions or cash. I put our numbers on the do not call list but so far it hasn't worked.
I received a message from 412-346-1349 which really scared me. When I tried to call back and leave a message, I got a recording stating that the person could not receive any more messages. Thank you all for posting because I was really nervous and did not know this is a scam.
My Mother received a message for me at her house from 412-346-1349 with reference to case number MVX23403 stating they were going to serve me or something like that. She was upset. I had to explain that I was not committing fraud of any kind and had never done so!! When I let her know this was a scam...she said that a person at her work had also received the same type of call saying they had committed fraud. At least my Mom does not think I'm a degenerate now! I guess I will just ignore them.
Been receiving the same call now since I think April 2014. I will not call them back. Said they had 2 accounts against me and one was fraud. How do we stop these people from calling and harassing us? I know it's a scam but it is getting annoying listening to their voicemails. Help!!
