Claims I have been charged with fraudulent bank activity or fraudulent checks, I don't even have a bank account, we use prepaid debit/credit cards for all our transactions or cash. I put our numbers on the do not call list but so far it hasn't worked.
May I ask a question here? WHY are people calling them back - doesn't this just fuel the fire? I am just flabbergasted that anyone would call them back. And why, if this is mostly from a certain number doesnt everyone report this. All the people here saying they are getting calls from this number and Im thinking if each of you called the FBI, FCC, --I mean everyone who there is to complain officially to - then doesn't this help?
I was so upset when this company not only called my home & cell #'s, but they somehow accessed my children's and husband's cell#'s. I called my friend who is an attorney and he said that no legitimate company calls and leaves messsages on the phone. He told me to advise them to contact my attorney and to ceas desist calling me and my family. Said these people are bottom feeders!!!
Just like everyone else here receiving a call from 412-346-1349 threatening me that a warrant for my arrest has been issued in my county, and that they will be serving me at my home or place of employment for 2 fraudulent charges against me. I have been receiving similar calls on and off for the past 2 years. They have also called my place of employment as well, and that just sent me through the roof. It's one thing to call my cell phone because I just have their number blocked and I just ignore them, but I'm a professional airline pilot, and when I received a call the other day from my chief pilot telling me about the phone call he received, I nearly blew a gasket. I explained the situation to him and that this was a scam, and referred him to this site as proof. Now that they effed with my work place, I have no choice now to report them, and like many on here I will be reporting them to the FBI, FCC, BBB as well as my local news stations. This harassment and scam needs to stop. The sad thing is that deep down I know that reporting them will probably make no difference at all, but it's guaranteed if I don't at least try. You're not going to win the lottery if you don't play. These people are lowest form of scum. Heck, they're not even worthy of being called scum. I wish you all the best of luck in your reporting of this fraudulent company, and I hope they all get sent to prison for the rest of their lives ( just wishful thinking, I know)
Unfortunately you will probably not receive anything from this company because it is a scam. You will not be able to get any information out of them and if you do, no AG (Attorney General), BBB or Consumer Protection Agency will be able to identify this company for legal action. I have received numerous calls from similar companies and not once have I been able to track them down. I now just ignore the call because once I call back and confirm my phone number, they mark it as good and keep calling no matter what you say to them.
Message to 412.346-1349: I refuse to call back terrorists, you will not be getting any money from me to fund whatever criminal act you are planning to do. Us Americans will not fall for your practices and we will find you some day. Might not be today, tomorrow or next week, but we will find you. You will be sorry for your actions and you will pay heavily for your crimes.
US Citizens: Do not return these phone calls, this will just confirm your phone number. Even though this is just one number, I receive many different calls about the same thing and I believe these phone calls are from the same group of criminals trying to scare Americans into thinking they are going to be sued. Any account you might have is going to show up in your credit report and you are going to get a letter in the US Mail from a legit debt collector once in default. The legit debt collector might try to call you, but they will identify themselves and only speak with you. They will not leave a message on the answering machine with any personal information about you or about court proceedings. Fight back, we can win this thing if we all educate ourselves and our friends/family. These companies will call anyone that knows you, including family, friends and co-workers/bosses. Let everyone know this is a scam and to not speak with them or return the call.
Monitor your credit report, educate yourself and be aware of your debt. Otherwise, it will be easy to fall victim to these criminals. Once you give them money, they will shut down, change their number and call you again to get more money. End it now before it is too late. I've reported these numbers to the FBI, BBB and Consumer protection, all have not been able to help. It does not hurt to report the criminals in though.
