I have been seeing this number on my phone every day. They leave no message and when I call back I get a recording that they are currently closed. Very annoying.
I finally answered after 3 calls this week....asked me about my Ford warranty in VERY foreign speak. Told her unlisted no./Do Not Call List etc.....DO YOU UNDERSTAND?? Heard "yes yes" then I hung up.
This is some calling on a masked number to look like it is local. They ask for your car mileage. I asked what company he was calling from and he said many companies. Then I told him to suck it each time he asked a question. He eventually hung up
This number called me last evening around 6pm-I actually thought it was my son prank calling me-whomever it was kept whispering my first and last name...I started laughing thinking it was my son-they hung up and have not called back. I also called the number back and got the generic message..
This phone number called me multiple times and when I finally picked up they identified themselves as "Warranty Extenders" for my Hyundai. They knew all of my personal information and were very pushy about purchasing an extended warranty, I politely declined and asked them to remove me from the list and I was then treated rudely and told that my manufacturers warranty expires soon (which only part of it does) and they called me a "b1tch" to which I said that I wanted to speak to their supervisor and they hung up. I called back and received a generic voicemail, so it appears it's a call center of some sort.
I immediately notified my dealership this evening (#1 Cochran) of the issue, but have yet to hear back from them as to if they gave my information to this local third party company or not. I'd be curious to find out if others who purchased vehicles from the same company have received these calls.
