This phone number called me multiple times and when I finally picked up they identified themselves as "Warranty Extenders" for my Hyundai. They knew all of my personal information and were very pushy about purchasing an extended warranty, I politely declined and asked them to remove me from the list and I was then treated rudely and told that my manufacturers warranty expires soon (which only part of it does) and they called me a "b1tch" to which I said that I wanted to speak to their supervisor and they hung up. I called back and received a generic voicemail, so it appears it's a call center of some sort.

I immediately notified my dealership this evening (#1 Cochran) of the issue, but have yet to hear back from them as to if they gave my information to this local third party company or not. I'd be curious to find out if others who purchased vehicles from the same company have received these calls.

I answered they told me how my car warranty was expired (it was not, I called my dealership to verify) and they wanted to sell me an extended warranty. I think it may be a scam.

Scam - they are calling about extending warranty on car. I told them that I was in military and being deployed to Middle East. Ask her if I could just bring the money in Person ? She hung up!

Fed up with Scamming A-holes
Just got a call from these guys today and didn't answer.  I learned my lesson long ago - if it's a number I don't know (local or not), I NEVER answer.  They left no message, of course.  I called back from my work phone (which can't be traced as it goes through a switchboard), and got the standard generic message that the offices are closed.  Well then how and why did you call me, biotch?  Scammer scum...

Funny, I just got an "official" looking "letter" in the mail yesterday - you know the kind with the 3 rip tabs on top and 2 sides).  It said really big on it "2ND ATTEMPT - TIME SENSITIVE MATERIAL, MUST RESPOND" or something similar to that.  So I opened it, and it was all the information about my car and something that said "Your warranty should be expiring soon due to mileage or age".  You must act now if you don't want to lose your warranty.  blah blah blah...  There was NO company name on the letter whatsoever!  But in very very tiny font at the bottom of the page, it said "This company is not affiliated with the dealership in any way"... yet failed to mention who this "company" even was.  So now, they're getting into our snail mail, too!!  All of them, scam artists and thieves.  UGH!!
