The reason my cell phone and house phone numbers are listed on "Do Not Call' is to stop such telemarketing calls, but 'Do Not Call' does not seem to be working. Am continuing to get several telemarketing calls and text messages offering cash or stating my credit card is in good standing or some language to that effect, but we'd like to offer . . etc. Have yet to wait and hear their whole spcheel. Still, it is annoying and it costs me for their calls and text messages on my Go-Phone. Maddening to say the least!
I don't even have a CC, they just keep calling and calling and calling and calling, new number every week. I've given up on reporting all the new numbers on the DNC site. If, after a year and a half, they couldn't track down the first 500 numbers these scamming fiends have used to call me from, why bother with the next 5 or 50 or 5,000?
"Frank Jones" sounds like a total wuss on the message you get when you call this number back. Frank, if I've offended you, why don't you post your home number up here and we can talk things out (while the Feds trace the line).
I have told these people more than once I do not own a credit card and please take me off their list but they continue to call. How can I get off this list
