The reason my cell phone and house phone numbers are listed on "Do Not Call' is to stop such telemarketing calls, but 'Do Not Call' does not seem to be working. Am continuing to get several telemarketing calls and text messages offering cash or stating my credit card is in good standing or some language to that effect, but we'd like to offer . . etc. Have yet to wait and hear their whole spcheel. Still, it is annoying and it costs me for their calls and text messages on my Go-Phone. Maddening to say the least!
Left message to lower my cc rate. I just went thru bankruptcy and have NO credit cards so I knew right away this was not legit. I found out thru my cell phone thru Sprint that I can block voice calls. If others are having problems and getting this on your cell phone, may want to see if your carrier has a way to block these sorts of calls. I've had to block 15 different numbers from these sorts of scams in the last two months.
