i received this very same message on 3/9/15 - and i called back today 3/16/15, man wanted to know why im calling a week later, then asked me my name, and phone# i was calling from, Sooooooooooooo im thinking to myself, if your the IRS wouldn't you already know this,
total scam !!!
"Niki Johnson" left a message saying she was with the IRS and asked us to call back. A man with an indian accent answered and said that he was with the IRS and that I owed back taxes. He said that I needed a criminal attorney and that someone would be at my house in two hours to explain everything. I was suspicious and said I had to go to work and would not be there and he hung up. I suspect he was planning a home invasion or something. Perhaps someone could run a sting operation to put this scam artist out of business.
Poor 'Niki' rides around on a camel, with a cellphone to her ear, as she tries to rip off the the decent people of civilized countries. Her, and her fellow scammers, could NEVER make it to your house, as camels are not known to be strong swimmers. Think of what the Coast Guard would do, if they noticed a person, such as her, arriving onshore riding a camel.
I had some what if the same conversation. I told him I couldn't understand his accent please put someone one without a Indian accent on the phone. He put on another guy after I heard them mumble before handing over phone. I asked what was the problem he started to talk and I asked that he put a American on the phone with a American accent, not to offend him. He than asked if I was a American, I replied born and bread. He said no your not, your a idiot. Your not a American your stupid. Than he hung up. I was releaved, it was a scam because. The 1st guy told me I owed 2700 dollars in back taxes. I told him I saw nothing in the mail. He actually gave dates that the information was sent out. Anyways, I'm gullible at 1st. Yet I'm no dummy. I don't understand how they get money from people doing this?
