I have also received the same calls. Knowing it's a scam, I called back and talked to "Jose Martinez" lol. Once he realized I wasn't taking him seriously, he decides to cuss me out. Can't help but laugh at these fools. Bye Felicia !!!!
Just received this phone call as well, was told by and automated female voice to return the call before action was taken against me. It scared me at first until I googled the phone number.
so is this a legit call? I also got this call and called back. IRS, stated I owe mass amounts of money and they are filing criminal action against me. Never received notices.
No it is not, the IRS does not call, the send letter delivered by the USPS. Failure to respond to them gets you a certified letter that you have to sign for. Failure to respond to that gets another one, and they freeze your bank accounts. They don't file lawsuits, they don't have to.
