We got this same call/recording 3 times today from IRS officer Julie Smith. Thank you to everyone for posting your experience so I know its a scam and will not be calling the number back.
Today Julie Smith from IRS call 3/4 times ask me to call back, I was at work my parents were at home they say Its a scam, they said God always create two type of human beings one great human being like us and another low life scumbag like Julie smith, just Ignore and pray she burn in h**l, Ha,Ha,Ha .. So If ever anyone get a call fom Julie Smith, remember my parents saying, she is a low life scumbag, Ignore it and don't call back .... Ha,Ha,Ha ....
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
