I called this number back (415-234-9651), they asked for my name i told them they could have my number and they hung up. Then i called back again and told them i was calling the real IRS and the police he told me in a deep indian accent " You call the f#*king police" and then hung up. I can only laugh and feel sorry for anyone who falls for this crap.
just got a call from a person referring to herself as officer Julie Smith with the Internal Revenue service and making references to needing to call her back at a hotline number 415-852-9235, very important, blahblahblah,
Same call on machine. Called back several times. Indian boiler room answers. Always hung up on me when I wouldn't give my number. Last time when I gave a fake name and tried to lead him on he says "OK Mister A$$hole" and started cursing before hanging up.
