My client got a call from this number threatening him w/an arrest because the police were right around the corner...They wanted a credit card...The IRS will NEVER call you because they don't have your cell or home number. They will write to you & give a number for YOU to call back & they give an ID number...They will not threaten you with arrest or deportation...These people are disgusting human beings preying on the innocent, elderly and aliens...Sickening situation.
I got a call from this number with a recorded message making threats on behalf of IRS, I called back to make sure its not real, they asked for my phone number and name and then this male person said I have a lawsuit against me with an arrest warning and asked if I have an attorney, I said I know there is no lawsuit against me, and that I know its not real, he said "then you will hear from the sheriff's office when they come to arrest you " and he hanged up.
Just got this same phone call recording says its from California on my caller ID. If so many people are getting this call from this number why are they not shutting this number down? This is totally SCAM.
They called saying they needed to talk to my husband regarding out income tax but wouldn't release any info to me. Voicemail from them threatened to take action against me if I disregarded the message.
