I didnt get a call from the number, but i did try to get a game off of Gamestop. I got an email saying i messed up my information so they cancelled the order, but the very next day it charged me $43.94 anyways. I called the bank and complained they said that they will revoke the charges but i have to wait 24 hours for everything to get in order. I'm in the state of "wait and see" at the moment. I'll never do the download thing off of gamestop ever again if this is whats going to happen. Although I have bought games for my PS3 and some accessories off of gamestops website and never had a problem with that... just letting everyone know
I received a VISA charge on 2/14 referencing this number (MACROVISIONTRYMEDIAGAMES 415-255-3131 CA) It was mixed in the same time frame I was purchasing a couple of items on-line, so I didn't see it right away. I have looked at their site and am certain that I did not purchase anything from them
I received a Discover charge on 5/6 referencing MACROVISIONTRYGAMES. No phone number listed. It was listed on the same day that I made an online purchase. I had never heard of them nor have purchased from them.
i ordered a game and the company charged my card 4 times after saying it was an error.
i called the number after searching it and demanded my money back.
i was lied to and was yelled at saying there was NO record of my purchases.
i waited on hold for more than 5 minutes then she finally pulled them up in a "different system"
i demanded to speak to a manager and finally did. he called my bank and had them reverse all the charges. i will never buy anything online from them again.
same thing happened to me. Combing through internet complaints, there's a HUGE amount of fraud regarding bogus charges associated with TM Netgames. While I'm not saying that TM Netgames as a company condones these illegal activities, I have wondered if there are people within TM Netgames who knowingly bill fraudualant charges to unsuspecting credit card holders. There are just way too many complaints of credit card fraud.
