I didnt get a call from the number, but i did try to get a game off of Gamestop. I got an email saying i messed up my information so they cancelled the order, but the very next day it charged me $43.94 anyways. I called the bank and complained they said that they will revoke the charges but i have to wait 24 hours for everything to get in order. I'm in the state of "wait and see" at the moment. I'll never do the download thing off of gamestop ever again if this is whats going to happen. Although I have bought games for my PS3 and some accessories off of gamestops website and never had a problem with that... just letting everyone know
I just checked my bank acct online and I too found a fraudulent charge linked to phone number 415-255-3131. The charge is pending on a card I have only used once which just happened to be for an online purchase. The online purchase wasnt even for a game, it was for girlie face wash and some lotion. Ive already contacted my bank and I had them cancel the card but unfortunately they cant do anything until the charge is no longer pending. My plan is to call this number Monday and ask them to give me back my money and if they dont then my bank said theyd refund the charges, but that its going to take alot longer because I have to go through the claims dept. It suck cuz i have bought quite a few things off line and I never in a million years thought this would me.
I notice a fraudulant charge on my account. I did not buy any game or anything from this place. They charged $43.15, I have called numerous times to tell them of the fraud. One time I actually got a hold of a person she said that she would transfer me to games and then hung up on me. THIS PLACE IS THE BIGGEST SCAM I have ever had the displeasure to have to contact with.
My girl friend ordered a game from shockwave.com and they charged us for the game, but right after that was a charge from TM Netgames. I called and talked to Shawanda...twice...like she was there only receptionist. I asked if they were affiliated with Shockwave.com, of course she said no and said that she refunded the charge. I just made the call so I will see soon whether or not it will get fixed. I also let my bank know that it was a false charge. I am going to let shockwave.com know as well. Me, personally, I think that this company gets leads from these online game sites and just charges people and hopes they get away with it. I am thinking about reporting them to the BBB as well.
Unfortunately, Trymedia is continuing to get away with such fraudulent charges. I tried to buy a digital download game through Gamestop.com the other day. When going through the process, a message popped up telling me that my credit card could not be processed and to try again. Of course, I tried a few more times, thinking that perhaps it would go through. Well, that was my mistake. The charges went in a day later... six times in a row. There is now $300 missing from my account because of this little "screw up". Gamestop can't help me, I've called them four times. I came across this board looking for a way to contact Trymedia directly instead of through an online web-form. If I get no contact from them, I will be calling them directly tomorrow.
i never got a call from this number but i have found a charge on my card on 1/4/10 from trymedia.com and i have never even heard of them let alone purchased anything from them it was in the ammount of 23.94 what do i do??
