I didnt get a call from the number, but i did try to get a game off of Gamestop. I got an email saying i messed up my information so they cancelled the order, but the very next day it charged me $43.94 anyways. I called the bank and complained they said that they will revoke the charges but i have to wait 24 hours for everything to get in order. I'm in the state of "wait and see" at the moment. I'll never do the download thing off of gamestop ever again if this is whats going to happen. Although I have bought games for my PS3 and some accessories off of gamestops website and never had a problem with that... just letting everyone know
For those of you getting unknown charges on your account, I have heard a lot of the fraud charges are from employees at Supplement Warehouse.com
I know for a fact after speaking with Elyssa that she is the only one pretty much who answers these calls and she was very very helpful. If you leave a message she will call you back. On the general mailbox, i guess she doenst have voicemail?
I had unknown charges and left a voicemail and she called me back within the hour. The credit takes a while I guess and it also depends on what your bank policy is.
same thing here I'm in detroit michigan and IM getting 2 or 3 charges for $53.94 a month from TMA Gamename Affiliate. I only use my cards online for paying my website fee's...my cellphone...and 1 website for my work out supplements. The banks have replaced my personal card, and business card twice each. Today i check out my statement and there it is again!!!! im going banana's over this and the bank is pretty much ready to call me an idiot.
Same thing happened here , I live in grand rapids area and yesterday I got the charge for $ 53.94 from TMA AFFILNAME GAMENAME ,I only buy food and grocery from Meijer and Horrock store and Menards, Biglots,only last week I bought prepay phone card from T-mobile it is located in woodland mall,if I purchase something I will use the BOA create new credit card number and certain amount. So I really don't know how they got my credit card number. Thanks my BOA email and called me so I can stop it and get the new card. Always check your bank accounts often it is never careful enough.
I also was charged 49.99 from Valve Software, called our bank and they gave me 425-889-9642. I called and had to leave a message - we will see what happens.
Thanks to your info I talked to Melissa at 425-889-9642 ext 592. She explained that someone hacked our info for a fraudulant charge of $49.99 on 06/08/10. She said she would reverse the charges and that it takes 3-5 business days. She was able to tell me the hackers had our card #, exp. date, 3 digit sec code and our address. She also said they could have gotten all that from using the card anywhere, grocery store, online, etc. I called our bank immediately and cancelled that card. Very unsettling how easy this can happen.
