Received a call from a man with a Indian accent who kept asking if I was -- he gave a name. Asked him who he was and where he was calling from and he said his name was Martin and he was calling about BMW car insurance. Hung up. Sounds like a scam.
Got a call asking for someone who used to work here. Keep getting calls from multiple numbers too on multiple occasions daily. So annoying. I wish these people would get real jobs and stop bothering people with scam calls.
Caller ID showed 'Belvedere, CA". A lady who could barely speak English called and introduced her as 'assistant of Evan (I did not catch his last name)' and said that 'Evan' needed to talk to the boss .... (they had the name right). Questioning her what the call was about, she repeated the first sentence over and over, never told me the reason for the call. When I told her that the boss was not in, she said 'never mind' and hung up.
