I had a man call this morning by the name of Ben Williams from 415-376-1480 and said he was going to have the police come to my home and arrest me for a loan that I have never had, I asked him for his info and he hung up on me, I called my Police Department and asked them if any arrest warrant was given out on me and they put me on hold, they checked on it came back negative, I asked them about LA County where he said he was out of and they told me not likely, because they would have to go through my PD first. They said this was was a scam artist and I should report this to the FBI. Also what I found funny is that this man had a strong Arab accent and his name was Ben Williams.
got a call from 415-376-1481 and they are attorneys representing cash advance usa, that i took out a payday loan with them and am not paying them back. all this is not true. told me i can tell my story to the police when they come to arrest me tonight. i have been trying to call them back to get their bar# & state etc... but now it is a constant busy signal. has anyone got a visit from police? i am contacting the fbi.
I received a call from these people also. They asked me if I knew that I was getting arrested on Tuesday at 11 am. I don' t know what they are talking about either. I also don' t appreciate the fact that they constantly call and bug the hell out of you and when you do talk to them, you can barely understand what they are saying and you can' t get any information from them. I think that this is harassment from whomever this is and I will be filing charges also.
They're trying to scare people into giving them money, don't fall for it. They are scammers, and probably in India. They can steal your money but can't do anything else besides bug the hell out of you.
I just put in a complaint online at fbi internet crime complaint center. This person at phone # 415-376-1481 claims the business name is Dept. of Legal Affairs & Investigation at 115 St Andrews St. San Francisco CA 90015. would not give me their bar code and said he would only give it to a lawyer. I urge all others should file complaints too.
