I got a call from some one asking that I contact Michael Carter from the IRS. It is a fraud. First, the IRS does not call, they first send a letter. Also the IRS agent doesn't give a name , they only give a #.
Also, I could't understand this man's English. It sounded like he was from Africa. I never got around calling him b/c I knew it was a fraud. I have dealt with the IRS many times in the past and know their protocol. I went ahead and filed complaint with the IRS. I will be happy to testify against him.
I got a call from Earl McWilliams that sounded like he was Indian calling from a call center with all these people talking in the background. He read me this speal that if i ddint pay $2018 by today I would be arrested! I called the IRS directly and found nothing was being filed and they gave me this number to call to report them. So i did. Dont fall for it! I knew something was up when he referrence my by phone number which was not my phone number but my parents.
An individual by the name of Michelle Brown ID # 1990165234 claiming to be employed by the IRS has made several attempts to contact me. This individual has a thick Indian accent and sounds like a male. The phone number they called from was 415-413-3834. They've actually called twice and went as far to leave a voice mail. They claimed to be with the tax payment department and the investigations department. They claim to be working in the San Fran, CA, campus. He/She isn't employed with the IRS and the IRS would never contact you by phone to have you verify confidential information over the phone. I've reported this phone number to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration on the basis of fraud and phishing. DON'T EVER VERIFY OR GIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE. PROTECT YOUR IDENTITY!! Educate and protect yourself by visiting http://www.irs.gov/uac/Report-Phishing. Ms Brown or whatever you name is...perhaps you shouldn't contact people that are actually employed with the IRS.
