Same as others. I have filed a complaint with the Colorado Secretary of State using the Colorado No Call reporting process (since my phone is on the no call list). I encourage everyone to do the same (in your state of course)

I thought I'd look it up before calling because of him leaving such a different call back #
(left the 415-449-8787 as a callback #..)

He called my home mainenance in Rowlett Texas website. Left his number and said he wanted to see if I could handle a few properties for him. Glad to find this thread, thank you everyone.
He told me to call this number; 415-449-8787 but the caller number was 1-315-218-0556.
Here was the message;
Senior, I just want to give you a call to see if you can help us with a couple of our property. Again, my name is John if you can give me a call back at the office at 415 4498 7887 says For some reason I'm not in the office, anyone of the office, can help you out answer any questions from there, okay. I might not be in the office, I've got a jobsite. So. Thanks and I hope you have a good day.
Glad I check to see who I am calling back before wasting the money on long distance."John" as he calls himself called me today 7/8/2011 at 2:49pm from 315-218-0556. I also have a craigslist ad offering services as a professional painter. He wanted me to look at couple of properties that are in need of my service. I wont waste my time either... Thanks all!
Called me today. This is obviously a scam. I live in the Bay Area California and post on Craigslist for electrical work. I get this type of crap all the time.
Use your head and please don't be a sucker.
