Once again a man calling from: 417-484-6151 who says I have a law suit against me and my social security number ending with...blah blah blah. That I MUST call "James Anderson" (always a different name) ASAP with personal information (they wanted the name of my Attorney???) to keep me from going to jail. They kept saying that my social security number had a case against it. Very Strange! Like my SS# was a "person or alive"...WEIRD. I told them I was recording the phone call and that I would be having it sent to my local police- dept, no one answered when I called the number they gave me. YES, its got to be a SCAM. How sad is all of this? People taking advantage of hard working, low income people. SMH............UGH!!!!
called me threatening to have an arrest warrant served on me at my work! Had the name of my work , my social as well! When I demanded to know his name and office name he hung up on me. This is a pfishing scam to get people to pay money or give bank information! Shut them down!!!
I have been receiving at least 3 calls from various phone numbers from these people for at least 7 days now on my work cell phone. They've been coming from all different numbers. Thankfully, they keep asking for an Erin/Aaron Somebody. Not me at all. At first they said they were from a Pay Day Loan place and that this Erin/Aaron had applied for a loan and it was approved and they were calling to find out how much Erin/Aaron wanted. I've told them over and over again that there is no Erin/Aaron at this number and to remove my number but they won't do it. A co-worker said can't I bloke the number but i can't because they keep using different numbers.
After about 2-3 days of me telling them that there was no Erin/Aaron at this number and to remove it, they'd start to hang up when I'd start to explain that. Then thay'd wait and call back.
Then, I finally decided to play Erin/Aaron and when told them I wanted to speak to a Supervisor. After about 5 minutes of me going back and forth with the idiot on the phone they "found" a Supervisor and I told them again to stop calling that there was no Erin/Aaron and then I asked did I need to have my lawyer contact them. He then had the nerve to ask if I was threatening him!!! Then he had the nerve to claim that I told him to call me and that he had it on tape that I told him to call him. WTF?!?!?!
