I was looking for jobs on craigslist and i saw this great job listing that said it had to do with entertainment/ PR division in my area that pays $30 an hour. of course im so excited and call this number right away. There is a recorded message that asks me to leave my name and phone number so i did and recieved a call 2 days later. the strange thing i noticed now was that my phone only rang once and the number was witheld. The lady left a message saying that i had an interview at 12 o clock 2 days later and gave me an address, etc. Looking at the whole situation it really seems too good to be true so i looked it up and this last story has me convinced that it is a scam. DONT GET TAKEN!
I also answered an ad on Craig's list (first red flag) and twice they called with restricted number...wanting to set up job interview ...I questioned her on the 15-30 hour....she said it is pay, not commission, etc...but interestingly didn't have the name of the person I would interview with, etc...sensed a scam...so glad I found this. When ASKED, she *Courtney* said the name of the company is THE PROMOTIONS GROUP. The new phone number *Sherman Oaks office* is 818-759-6513, Thanks. Cancelling appt.
