I have BLOCKED this number from calling my phone for the past week and longer. All of a sudden I'm here at my sisters spending a weekend and BOOM, they leave a msg on her home machine. SCARY part is, how do they knw my sister number cause even I don't knw it and how do they knw I'm here?!?!
Who are these new idiots with accents calling and claiming to be from the Provision of Pretrial for the State of California...blah, blah, blah. She kept stumbling through the message left and could hear a call center in the background and you could tell she was trying to cover up her accent. Whatever. I just forwarded the telephone number on to the FBI fraud unit as well as the FTC.
I keep receiving these calls also from the Provision of Pretrial for the State of California. They are a total scam. It makes me worried about some elderly people that might fall for this.
