Received a call from Sausalito CA and that they were filing charges for my ex-husband in a County in California. He's dead! I would like to see them serve him (of course, it's a SCAM so they won't).The house they are going to serve him at has been raized and obviously he's not at his place of employment nor his residence.
They called asking for our daughter-in-law. They said they were with Alameda County Court Legal. This was a pre-litigation call about claims filed against her. We could deal with these claims outside of the court. The address they had for her, was not our address, but her mother's address. We asked if they could tell us what the claims were, but they could not release this information without us verifying the last four digits of her SS#. They claimed the call was safe, because it was being monitored by the Alameda Court. We gave them no information and hung up. SCAM!
This person claimed there some sort of litigation against me and that they were going to my place of employment. The guy sounded strange and hard to understand. Anyway, they asked me to call some number. Been getting calls like this from other numbers all of the same nature. SCAM for sure!
Called my family members,my cell phone and my home phone unfortunately I answered my home phone a women with a heavy accent wanted my information in order to tell me of several allegations against me. I told her I was not going to give her any information until she gives me some she got hostile and said then I would be served at my place of employment and my residence and that I have now been notified. I AM SO SICK OF THESE SCAMMERS!!! Oh yea she said she was from the state of California in one breath and the next out of Florida. Get your story straight. Lots of background talk!
This number called my brother's residence and left a vmessage for me to call Lilian Carter. Message said for me to call. She's working with City of San Diego County County Clerk - Legal Dept.
tried calling back several times and no answer.
First of all, City County Clerk does not call residences. If this was legit, they would be sending notices. and the option or request to settle out of court would come from me.
They would do anything to stress and frustrate people.
