Received a call from Sausalito CA and that they were filing charges for my ex-husband in a County in California. He's dead! I would like to see them serve him (of course, it's a SCAM so they won't).The house they are going to serve him at has been raized and obviously he's not at his place of employment nor his residence.
Called me two weeks ago saying she was from California litigation services. I told her to send me something and she got frustrated when I wouldn't give her information and told me that I would be served at my place of employment or my residence. I told her whatever and hung up. Never received anything. Phone calls stopped until she called my dad and told him she was from child protective services and needed to get ahold of me. He got mad at her but she wouldn't give him information. He called and gave me her name Monica Fritz from Child Protective Services. I traced the number says from San Francisco then routes the location to Comma Coffee Shop in Carson City, Nevada. This is getting way out of hand. Very frustrating and tired of these pieces of crap theives!
These jerks have called my mothers house and my sister-in-laws number, trying to get information about me. Stating their a ligagtion serbvice and I am in trouble if I don't call them. That I owe money to the state of california money. Yesterday same people calling with a New Mexico number stating I owe that state money. This is ridiculous and a complete scam.
Got a call from some guy with a very heavy accent. He left a message saying he is from the clerks office and that litigation is being pressed against me. He said I will be served unless I settle but that once I am served the case is closed and I have no rights which makes no sense at all. He left some bogus case number of 12343567. I dont plan on calling back. Tired of getting these scam calls.
Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
For Extortion Scam Operations, File reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,CFB,FTC & FCC.. Emails can be attached to complaints filed with IC3, the cyber crimes division of the FBI.
