I think this is what happened! I think Rogers sold their cell numbers as I am surrounded by 3 roger cell phones and all have been harassed with 1 call per day. The telus and Bell haven't been called... yet.
These [***] have been calling me every damn day at like 8am in the morning and its so fricken annoying!! i never listened to the whole thing yet so i didnt know there was an option to dial 2 so they wont call anymore. i will try that next time.
Received a call on my cell phone from 416-000-5319 at 11:21am.
Clearly, it is some type of telemarketing call and is one of many calls (most with U.S. area codes) that I have been receiving on my cell phone during office hours. One U.S. example is (802) 525-4519.
Do what I am doing -- Call your cell provider about it and give them the number! Complain, and make sure to let them know that you are going to let the CRTC know that they have compromised their cell-phone numbers, or maybe -- just maybe THEY (Bell, Tellus, etc) SOLD their phone numbers to generate a quick and dirty profit.
