I know these calls aren't legal, and I "opt out" every time - either by keypad or talking to someone - but how can they be stopped? This time, the call ended as I answered. /grrrr
I just got a call from 417-000-0002 said they wanted to lower my credit card rate and to push 9 to speak to someone so I did.I told them I didn't own no credit cards and would like to be removed from thier calling list. The man said ok please hold then comes back and says ok what did you need? So I said again I don't own any credit cards and would like to be removed from your calling list.He says I can't hear you,there is to much noise in the back at your house I said no,there is no noise here,it's from your end he says no bit** it isn't.I said excuse me then he calls me a nasty goat fu**er and that he seen me laying in the mud last night fu**ing a sheep.So I said I want to talk to your manager he said no you stupid who** you can not talk to him.So I started cussing him. I have never been talked to that way in my life and it really upset me.But I do hope they call back!!!
Received similar call re: lowering my CC interest rate, hit 9 as instructed, the guy on the other the end introduced himself as Ben from card member services and immediately asked for the security number (no card type identified). I immediately hung up.
Received call from 4170000002 today. I didn't answer as I knew the number was spam. They left no messsage. I don't have credit cards so not sure why they'd call me. If u have an android cell phone I would strongly recommend going to play store and download Mr Number. It's a free app that enables you to block calls and text especially spam.
