My elderly neighbor was scammed by these SOB's resulting in loss of funds from her bank account and a completely locked up computer. Because of my familiarity with her issue, when he called I quickly recognized his scpheil shut him down. These are the bottom feeders who feed on scum produced by the bottom feeders.
Same deal, heavy Indian accent, told me calling from my IT department and had a problem with my computer. Have received many of these calls from multiple numbers.
+ Don't answer unknown callers, or they're auto-blocked. + Several reports here indicate a Las Vegas connection. Had called a friend in Las Vegas a couple of hrs earlier via AT&T Uverse VOiP (that is awful) - and wonder if there's a link somehow with a bad-apple tapper or number skimmer (person) inside a switching center of AT&T for calls routed in & around Vegas.
