MY ADVICE IS
If you don't have caller ID then get it. It is worth every penny. We don't answer the phone if we don't know who is calling. If it is a legit call they will leave a message and you can return call.
"Magyar of Evert" showed up on my caller ID, but we couldn't get to it fast enough and there was no one there. My neighbor has a business I think he named "Magyar Enterprises" so I thought it was him calling until I saw the 417 and I googled it (I'm from SW Missouri, too, and recognized the 417). Loser hacker.
CID says Eva Grey but when person answers it's a man with a thick Asian accent claiming his name is Anderson and that he's from Microsoft. Yeah, right.
Oops, I almost answered this call since I have relatives living in MO but since I didn't recognize neither the name nor number didn't pick up. Glad I didn't since reading all of these messages.
