Caller ID said 'NOT IN USE'. I almost laughed. Someone chose that one. So, since it is not in use, I picked up, but said nothing, and was responded to in the same way. After about 20 seconds I just hung up.
Call came thru as no message left so I called the number back. The robo message says it's Energy Discount Center and they offer or might be able to offer a discount on electricity or natural gas. Press 1 to transfer to a live operator or 2 to be taken off the list.
For every one of you who has posted that "the do not call list does not work," answer this question: How many times have you taken one minute to go to www.donotcall.gov to report the scam calls that you receive? Zero? I thought so.
"They" cannot do anything about it until "we" (ALL of us) report the scammers.
second call today on personal cell that only a small group of family and friends have number. it is a number that I never give out so guessing that it is a robo call - no message
it seems like the number of these calls is increasing weekly
