This guys accent was so fake I thought it was my Grandson pranking me and my responses totally threw off the caller/scammer. This number currently displays the name Robert Krechel and the "fake Indian-accented con-man" told me hew was from Window Tech Dept (or some such bullshizz) and that I had some virus in my computer that was spreading and I needed to get online immediately with him so he could help me ADD (oh,, I mean "remove" :) it. I eventually just said "this looks very fishy to me so if indeed you are from microsoft/windows then send me something in writing as you should have all my data (including relevant e-mail and standard mail addresses) already and be able to comply with my request without me giving any further information..thank you"..and I hung up..the end.. PEACE!
Just got a call while I was out from this number. Caller ID is Robert Krechel. No message left. This is interesting,since I was on my computer looking for a recipe and went to food network.com. While I was on that site,a message appeared on my computer indicating that it had a virus and a tracking cookie. It suggested to call microsoft support and gave a number to call or suggested I contact my service provider. I did neither but did run a complete Norton scan which found nothing. Got the call from Krechel at 9:00 AM / 11/03/15.
417-852-4043 just called at 9:39pm. I picked up but no one spoke. It didn't disconnect. Weird. My number is on the national do not call registry and I'm still getting calls.
he said he was from windows and my computer was about to crash when i told him it was a scam he got very angry and then i told him i had a mac he got angrier and hung up.
boiler room call. lots of other calls in background. Lady with thick Indian accent telling me my computer had malicious software and she was going to help me .i told her I knew this was a scam and if course she denied it and said i was going to lose my data . told her I could care less and if I did I would just get a mac. she hung up on me . caller Id was 417-852-4043 name on caller id id Robert D. Krech. of course if you call this number back it has been disconnected. Rude people .
