Found this call in my voicemail claiming same as others. Googled the phone number I didn't recognize as they did not leave one, and found this page. Thanks!
I got the message this morning that someone had made a complaint against my name and social security number and they asked that I call back but they didn't leave a number, which is too bad because I would have called them back and told them to F*** off. I had the pleasure of doing just that when the "DEA" called. I love tearing into all this a-holes who try to scam people.
I received a message just a minute ago stating that a complaint had been made against my name and social security number and was asked to call back. I have no idea what this is concerning but am thinking it is a scam. I blocked the number.
I called the number back from another line, a lady named Linda answered the phone and asked how she could help me.
I asked her "How can I help you, as you called me?"
She then asked if I was calling from the number that I was called on, I stated NO. She then asked if I would give her the number that I was contacted on. Again I stated NO. She then stated "Ok then..Goodbye"
Received recorded message telling me my name and SS# had been filed in a formal complaint. No idea what they were talking about and no identification of my name was used. Not interested in calling back.
Received the same kind of call from this number 2/22/17 @ 1145ish. Same message left as others. Law suit filled against my name and ss# yet no mention of who they are, what my name is or who filed law suit. Just that I need to call. So I blocked my number and called, when I asked more questions than the lady on the phone, she hung up on me. SCAM!
