answered this one today (it has called before). male knew my last name. when I asked who he was, he hung up. using caller id, I called number and a recorded message referred me to www.securestech.net (or at least this is what it sounded like). there is no where on thi swebsite to complain about calls. the site is connected to correctional facilities. baffling and annoying.
I unplugged my phone on the second ring. Doubt it helps, but I figure if enough spam calls report my number as not in service, it will eventually go away! But seriously, it does seem to cut back on the calls for a while.
Just got a call from 423-328-1807 at 12:34 on February 14. No message left. My caller ID did not list anything other than the phone number. I am assuming this is a telemarketer from other messages I have seen about this number.
I got a call from this number, looked it up and it said "Johnson City, TN". I have relatives in the Tri-Cities area of TN which includes Johnson City, so I called the number back. It is a Jail Inmate telephone service connected to the Securus inmate telephone system. If they are in jail and related...they've just been disowned.
Received call this morning. ID said "Tennessee Call". Answered so I could mess with the caller. He never made me understand with whom he wanted to speak and finally hung up on me. I tried to call the number- 1-423-328-1807 and got a message saying that the number was not in service.
