answered this one today (it has called before). male knew my last name. when I asked who he was, he hung up. using caller id, I called number and a recorded message referred me to www.securestech.net (or at least this is what it sounded like). there is no where on thi swebsite to complain about calls. the site is connected to correctional facilities. baffling and annoying.
I just got Verizon service activated along with the phone line and I received a call from this number. Strange thing about it , I'm from the Tri Cities area but the call had lots of static on it then I got disconnected.
Unplugged answering mach 2 years ago. This number rings, then double rings once, then rings again, and lasts 5 minutes or longer until they hang up. I answer no calls I do not know nor those who do not have a name of either a person or company. In almost every case, it is nothing more than a complete scam. People! STOP ANSWERING YOUR PHONES IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHO IT IS! If they don't have the guts to display their names - and this includes reputable companies - then they are not worth answering. This is my motto.
