answered this one today (it has called before). male knew my last name. when I asked who he was, he hung up. using caller id, I called number and a recorded message referred me to www.securestech.net (or at least this is what it sounded like). there is no where on thi swebsite to complain about calls. the site is connected to correctional facilities. baffling and annoying.
Just received a call from this number but didn't answer. Concerned that it was somebody I know from that part of the US, but thanks to the posts listed here, I know it is a scam call and to ignore it.
The message said it came from a correctional facility. This is total BS. When you visit the website they offered, The site is nothing more than a landing page with PPC, pay per click ads. The website owners are slick! They use a PBX phone system to make automatic calls and when people investagate and visit the site, many people will click on the relevant advertisements. The website owner then makes money from the click. This company is from viet nam
DO NOT CLICK ON THE ADS SO THEY LOSE MONEY!
Below is the website registration information - Maybe everyone should bombard them with emails, use fake throw away accounts. (Make sure you use Use the CC and the BCC field so, every email you send they get 50) CRUSH THEIR MAIL SERVER and make it CRASH! Lol!
