That's exactly what I do. I changed my number a while back and I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, even if it's a friend with a new number. I can always call them back.
I just got a call from this # they asked for my husband and I said he wasn't here and asked who this was. They said I will call back. I told them they were not to call back and the man on the other end made a "waaaa" whine. How can we report these ingrates?
This number has called four times today. Each time it hung up right as I answered. The last time they called I managed to speak to a human. He completely butchered my boss's name and proceeded to tell me she had severe tax debt and it was important he speak with her right away. He said he was in a call center in San Diego and did not have a direct line and needed to speak with her imediately.

Received a call from this number. They kept hanging up when the answering machine came on. Obviously not a customer. Caller ID came up as "v40109510500010" whatever that means.
