He said his name was "Kevin," and the call was in regards to a legal matter.
They were attempting to reach me on my cell phone, and since the number was unknown, I did not answer. He called me 3 times in a row, so I called them back on my work line. Both numbers have different area codes, and are completely different numbers. Without asking me my name or number, "Kevin" said he had received information my recent blood panel. He said my results were taken after I began taking blood thinners. I politely told him it was incorrect, and he thanked me for my time, and hung up.
If I went along with this call, he would have attempted to gather my personal information. No one brings up "medical" records without confirming who they are speaking to.... Unfortunately, Kevin called with bad intentions. Do your folks, friends, and neighbors a favor, and remind them to not share any of their personal information with anyone that calls them from an unknown number.
I am currently unemployed and looking very hard for a job. I received a text from someone claiming to be Judith Rodin the Asst. Director of Quality for Vaatsalya Healthcare with regards to my resume posted. They were asking for my email address to conduct an onlne interview. My email address is listed on my resume, so I started researching the information. I could not find any legitimate organization listed with interest here in the US. I caution anyone who is looking for work to be very careful. I expressed my concern via a rely text and they have not contacted me again. I would assume they are a scam. Just be very careful.
the message I as left from this number said the caller was Officer Heather Gray of the IRS and she needed me or my attorney of record to return the call... Total scam!
