Rec'd call at 2:25 on 4/6/16. I could tell by the number it was a telemarketer but answered anyway to waste some of their time. Nothing but dead air when I picked up. CID was simply Los Angeles CA.
We have a family member in law enforcement. I asked him about some of these "police charities" and his reply was he'd never heard of any of them. Don't fall for telemarketers, hold on to your money.
these low life call about donation to police charity what a lie, it go's right in their pockets if you are stupid enough donate DO NOT GIVE then a cent it is a complete CON & SCAM they stole $50.00 from my grama that she does not have but she has a big heart, & now they are $50.00 richer cause of her sympathy for otheres, they have so soul, no conscious & love to steal from others.
