Rec'd call at 2:25 on 4/6/16. I could tell by the number it was a telemarketer but answered anyway to waste some of their time. Nothing but dead air when I picked up. CID was simply Los Angeles CA.
We have a family member in law enforcement. I asked him about some of these "police charities" and his reply was he'd never heard of any of them. Don't fall for telemarketers, hold on to your money.
this scum are scammers in the biggest way, the charity for vet, police, sherriff's, & childrens society they call about is phony and only go's to them how they sleep at night or can look at themself's in the mirror is beyond understanding DO NOT BELIEVE THEM.. Wish they could be arrested, maybe they will get caught as this went right to the police dept, sheriff, & other goverment agencys that I work with being I work with them all as a investigator full time & if I can catch them with the help of those mentioned they will go to prison. !!
Just received a call from this number. Interactive IVR robocall soliciting for donations for law enforcement/anti gang donations. When asked if they could count on a small tax deductible donation if they send a package containing a return envelope to my home I responded "no" and hung up. Number is now blocked.
Didn't leave message. Looked it up and behold this wonderful site. Called it back, none of their representatives were available, and if want to be removed from call list...
