Just block them. It is a scam robocall that is programmed for voice recognition. I wanted to see if it would put a live person on by giving confusing answers to the machine. Instead it jumped past its programmed listings of points and right to asking me how much I wanted to donate. Still have no idea who they are. The machine just hung up instead of getting a live person.
Robot said "I'm Michael Clark blah blah", I told robot "I'm not interested" and hung up. I wonder is there a way we the public could fight back against these annoying scammers by finding and making public the personal phone numbers of these scammers, the phone company execs who profit from it and the lobbyists and politicians who protect the whole scam? Then as a public service and for fun we could bombard their lines and message inboxes with millions of annoying calls just like they do to us.
Have received three calls from this number. A guy named Michael Clark claims to be representing the police officers association and wants to know if I wanted to donate. I have declined all offers and hung up.Two calls have been robocalls and the other was an actual person. Suspect this is a scam and will see about blocking.
