Just block them. It is a scam robocall that is programmed for voice recognition. I wanted to see if it would put a live person on by giving confusing answers to the machine. Instead it jumped past its programmed listings of points and right to asking me how much I wanted to donate. Still have no idea who they are. The machine just hung up instead of getting a live person.
Received a call from 424-369-9019. He sounded like a real person (my wife answered over speaker phone) He said his was Mark and he was seeking donations for the Veteran's Foundation. My wife said she didn't understand and he hung up quickly.
Comes up as Los Angeles CA
About noon PST 15 March 2016. Voice recognition for essentially a robo-call asking donations from a non-profit Veteran's charity. Blocked.
I use OOMA and I wrote an application that alerts me after 3 calls from an unknown number. I never answer calls that I do not recognize the CallerID. If they really need to talk to me they can leave a message and if I need to talk to them I will call them back. This "guy" called me the first time on 2016-02-10, then second time on 2016-03-12 and the third time today and now he is blocked. If he calls again he will get the message that my number is disconnected - so sweet! I guess that is my version of three strikes and you're out.....
